Arduino Sound Detection Sensor Module

Arduino Sound Detection Sensor

The Sound Detector Module is a small board that combines a microphone and some processing circuitry. It provides not only an audio output, but also a binary indication of the presence of sound, and an analog representation of it’s amplitude.

The Module has 2 outputs :
 - AO : analog output, real-time output voltage signal of the microphone.
 - DO : when the sound intensity reaches a certain threshold.
When the sound level exceeds the set point, an LED on the module is illuminated and the output is sent low.
The threshold-sensitivity can be adjusted via potentiometer on the sensor.
